So basically, you can do anything you want with dead people.   I might even dig my own grave. I bet I can get out of this shit for like 200 bucks.

I'm going to build my own coffin. That's probably legal.  I have a lot of time. But I'm going to use cheap wood. It's really just a disposal job. Our burial customs are sinful - the waste of precious materials - not to mention the toxic waste from embalming chemicals.

I don't know if it's cheap. Plus you have to buy a coffin if you have a funeral. Nobody wants to look at a dead body. That is a revolting custom. I think the Jews just bury them right away. It's hot over there.  I read that the practice of packing the house with flowers was to cover the smell originally.
